Missing Him ♥

It's been a good 2 weeks since the last time I've posted. Life, as usual, has been extremely crazy. The last time I left you, we had just gotten home from Johnson City. Since then, alot has happened, and I mean alot. Let me summarize it up.

Thursday, October 14: Brian and I had a pretty fast week, and decided we wanted to go out for dinner because we thought he would leave the next day for a long job. He ended up not having to go, so we actually stayed in town, went to Greek Brothers with my cousin Dustin and his girlfriend Brittany. Then we headed to the Cantina in town, had a few drinks, a few embarrassing moments and came home for the night. It was a rough day the next day for Brian since he had to work. Friday was Fun Friday at Debs. We had Mummy Dogs, Bat Chips, and Root Beer Floats, halloween themed!

I don't remember much about that weekend. I know that Brian and I cleaned house Saturday and he went on a job Sunday morning. The next few days went by quickly. I made dinner for Melissa, Kade & Baylee on Tuesday night. Dustin's birthday was Thursday, which was also the night Brian and I were leaving to go to Baffin Bay for a fishing trip with my family. That day I rode around with Britt to help her out with getting a birthday shindig for Dustin that night (which Brian and I would miss).

Brian and I left for Baffin early Thursday night, and got there around 10pm. We had an awesome time while there. Dad caught a 44inch trophy redfish, together on our guided boat trips we had 22 keeper trout, and 3 keeper redfish. We also did some fishing off our house pier and caught a few drum, redfish, trout, 26 crabs, and of course the typical trash fish/bait fish. Overall, it was an amazing vacation, and too bad it wasn't long enough. Here are some pics

It was a successfull trip and it was wonderful to spend quality time with my family. We headed back to EC, got some sleep and found out that Brian would be headed back to West Virginia come Wednesday.

Monday, Brian got a spontaneous kick and decided that we would travel to Huntsville to see my best friend and maid of honor, Lesley and her boyfriend James. They let us stay the night at their house and we had a few drinks, chatted a bit and got to spend quality time with them before Brian left again. Tuesday we woke up, headed back to EC, and I cooked seafood gumbo for Brian with our fresh caught crab. I wanted to make a home cooked meal for him before he left.

Yesterday was a pretty busy day as well. Brian left to go to West Virginia in the morning, and ended up not even making it to West Virginia, but is staying overnight in Pittsburgh because their luggage was still in Atlanta when they landed in Pittsburgh. Today he will be in West Virginia by the afternoon and headed to location. I spent the morning reading blogs, especially Jennifer Morton's blog about her son Cory, who has AML Leukemia and is at Texas Children's Hospital. Cory is a very good friend of my cousin Hunter, and my Aunt Jackie is always helping out the Morton family. Here is the link to her blog. http://jccmorton.blogspot.com/

Everyone in EC is stepping up and being a part of Team Cory. We've been STORMING heaven with prayer after prayer. Recently I have been praying for EVERYTHING. The power of  prayer is unbelievably amazing and it has been working! God is truely great, and he has blessed so many people. I have faith that he will continue to bless the Morton family.

Well it's getting late. Hopefully it won't be another 2 weeks for me to post again. Since Brian is gone, I have a feeling that I will blog a little more often. We're still not sure how long he will be gone. I'm hoping he will stay until after Thanksgiving. I know its horrible for me to want him to stay 4 weeks again, but his time away is well worth it, and it only makes us stronger, and we realize the mental strength and emotional love we have for each other is unstoppable.

Goodnight For Now & God Bless, *Amber*
