Honeymoon {part 1}

So, I have ALOT planned to blog about the wedding, especially the DIY projects we did to make our entire day come together. However, I'm waiting for my professional pics to come in, and I'm still collecting guest pics as well. I'm hoping next week I can really get started on reviewing the wedding for you all on here.

For now, we're skipping ahead to the honeymoon.

We left Austin on the morning of Sunday, October 23. Our flight was from Austin to Los Angeles. The first time EVER that I was in California.

in front of our truck at the parking lot, ready to go!

about to board with our passes
just having fun with our rings while I was bored on the flight

sleeping on the flight to LA

just landed in LA
We landed in LA and hung out in the airport for about 3 &1/2 hours. We didn't have enough time during our layover to go see anything in LA. Instead we went to Chili's right across from our gate in the terminal. We had a few snacks and a margarita each. It was nice to just sit and be with hubby for a few hours and not have to worry about where to go next.

Starbucks to prepare me for our 5&1/2 hour flight to Kona

our first dinner in Hawaii. $40 for a medium pizza and 2 waters...yikes
We landed in Kona at 7:30pm Hawaii time, which was 11:30pm Texas time. We were exhausted...It was a long day of traveling for us. But I enjoyed every bit of it with my new husband!

Tomorrow I'll post Honeymoon part 2. Our first few days in Hawaii...Stay Tuned
