Honeymoon {part 2: Resort}

{Day 1 in Hawaii}

Our first morning in Hawaii was a bit tiring, needless to say. Our room was surrounding a lagoon which was inhabited with thousands of birds. Birds that squawk throughout the night, endlessly. We really tried to sleep in once the birds got quite during sunrise, however, Hawaii mornings are so breathtaking, and its quite impossible to sleep in past 7am because the sun rises around 5:30am.

We decided to take it all in and experience Hawaii's finest things, it's landscape and beauty.

We got dressed and ready and headed to our Big Island Breakfast....

Hubby's plate of pastries, the croissant was mine

my breakfast plate of omelet and fresh pineapple salsa, with fresh pineapple juice that was intoxicatingly amazing!

We then decided to look around the resort, since we arrived at night when everything was totally hidden. We didn't even know the ocean was outside our balcony until the sun rose.
