It's this little slice of heaven, where most people don't know of, and the fishin is mighty fine!
See what I mean!?! I'm here with my parents. We got here Tuesday morning, and are leaving, well now...lol.
Hubby-to-be is in Pecos, TX working his tail off so we have an awesome honeymoon in October. He'll be there for another 14 days or so, unfortunately. He told me I had to go with my parents so we don't starve, lol...I'm the hunter-gatherer for now!
It's back to the wedding grind tomorrow. Invitations, programs, tags, and much more must be made within the next 3 months before the wedding.
We've gotten a good chunk of projects finished...146 candles, 120 jars of peach preserves and peach butter, and our 100 Save The Dates went out this past Monday!
Once I get a break, I'll most likely write a few posts about all the projects we've done. My crafting has been focused on invitations and such, so projects are limited to the wedding right now.
Busy, busy, busy!
Have a wonderful Independence Day weekend. Remember the real reason for our celebration, because we would not be where we are today without this significant day in USA history.
Now that is a lot of fish!! It makes our attempt at fishing look pretty pathetic!!
ReplyDeleteIn the nearly 2 years my husband and I have been married, we've never been apart for anytime longer than 24 hours! I can only imagine the difficulty that comes from spending so much time apart, but at the same time I can only imagine the excitement of seeing eachother again!
Have fun wedding crafting!!
beautiful fish- the boys would go crazy!
ReplyDeletehope the wedding plans are coming along well-
