As a traditionalist and a conservative, I share ALL of my parents views on politics and government. My parents have never told me lies, but they did keep A LOT from me until the day I began to live on my own. My parents NEVER talked politics with me and my brother. We never spoke of sex or crime. They let us watch the news, but every television show was censored to their liking as well as movies, books, well our entire life was censored. I respect them for that and thank God every day that they cared for and protected me.
The morals and ethics that they instilled in me, will never wither away. So as I get older, I become more aware of my surroundings, and the things that can affect my life.
Which brings me to the topic of this controversy going on about Miss USA. YOU GO GIRL!!! I honestly can't believe the idiot who called her such harsh words. She didn't win because she had a right to her own opinion?!?! I'm sorry, but I believe the first amendment lays out everything to resolve this controversy...The idiot, who I will not name because he's an idiot, is unaware of the first amendment and needs to shut his mouth!
Everyone is so critical of each other in our society. People, especially the media and anyone involved in it, thrive on the fact that they can upset people so simply.
I'm very upset about our government and how our "precious" president is screwing our country for everything it has. All of his supporters think he is a hero, and he is their savior. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Don't you see what he is doing? No, because you're too consumed with yourself and you believe everything the media says! Blame it on Bush, that's right. He had morals and ethics and believed in protecting his country.
I'm disappointed in people. Especially his supporters. They cannot keep their mouth closed about people like me!
Our "president" is ignoring conservatives as a whole, not even taking our views as citizens into consideration. Guess what, not everyone gets what they want!!! I know!
At this point in time I am very disappointed with our government. I wish our president all the best, because America NEEDS him to do well, but honestly, I think he will have a hard time sticking up for our country if he's is going to keep leading this way. He can't just apologize for centuries of America's past. He's not American if he continues to take our country and our people for granted.
Now, I'm off to bed, to sleep another day's worries away. God Bless!
