Halloween Blues

It's now the early morning after Halloween. I just got home from the Tarver's house. The traditional festivies were amazing as always. Taco Soup, Cheese soup, dips, chips, and LOTS of sweet goodies! Cupcakes, cakes, brownies, and candy! There were tons of people there, but not many ate sweets! But the food was great and the company was even better!

I decided to dress up as Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus...seeing that I am a full figured woman, I made my own costume! Last night I had an epiphane and I went to Walmart, got some fabric, came home, and pieced together an outfit, matching, for the most part, that of Mary Sanderson's wardrobe. I think with my excellent creative skills *cough and laugh your butt off on that one ok*, I did a pretty decent job. I had great reviews and everyone seemed to know who I was. I will be making some additions before next year, and I will be doing a trial of how I want my hair done. Brittany did my hair tonight for me. I was going to stick a styrofoam cone in my hair, but I didn't and my hair was pretty decent for a all of a sudden up do. Next year I will definetely have a picture of what I want my hair to look like, and maybe even an idea of how to make it better. For the most part, it did great, and it worked perfectly for tonight.

Overall it was a wonderful day! Halloween always seems better before it comes, and the excitement is a little overwhelming, and sometimes the day gets a little disappointing!

After I have a good night's sleep, I'll post more details. Things I cooked, pictures from the festivities, and more!

I'll leave you with these pictures for today though!
